Post # 100 and Sick Baby

Happy 100th Post!

So, Andy had to go get Casey from the day care yesterday. She had a 102.8 fever and felt like she was on fire. She was feeling so bad that when I came home to check on her during 6th period, she was lying on Andy and didn't even pick her head up to come to me. Poor thing. I went ahead and scheduled an appointment to see the Pedi. anyway. Her fever is down to a 99.6 today and she is very snotty/congested. Lots of buggers and SNOT BUBBLES!

I am seriously thinking changing the name of the blog. Casey is all about snot bubbles.

We big time owe Aunt Gigi...she came over to our house at 6am to watch Casey. Andy is on his way home from work to take over. We owe her big time! Casey is really coming around. I don't think she fussed for a second when I left. Then again, she was more interested in watching Blues Clues than anything.

I think she is addicted to Blues Clues. I HEART the Noggin Channel!

Casey and I went down to Texas City to see Grammy and my mom. We then went to see her other set of "grandparents"...my best friend Kristi's mom and dad...who will affectionately be called Grandma Debbie and Grandpa Dewaye. HA HA HA! The more the merrier right?!?!? Can you have too many people spoil your kid?

Casey and I went to my friend Beth's baby shower on October 11th. Beth looked SOOO cute! Her little girl will be here soon! I can't wait!

Casey was very good. She is getting so much better about letting people hold her. She had a great time playing with the host's son's toys! I guess we need to buy Casey a truck.

So, our home computer is "sick". This is really scary since we do not have all our wedding and baby pictures saved to a secondary location. =( I hope we can get it fixed and NOT lose everything!

Casey at 9 1/2 months:

1. Loves to eat. She is at 4, 7-ounce bottles a day and 4 -5 jars of stage 2 food (about 20-22 ounces). Then she loves to poop...the kid dirties like 4 or 5 diapers a day. I am glad not to be that regular!

2. She is very fast. Casey likes to crawl as fast as she can to "run" away from you. She really likes exploring the kitchen and trying to get into the dog food bowl.

3. Herself. She likes to kiss the baby in the mirror.

4. Mrs. Mary. Grace Church has an amazing day care with a wonderful woman named Mary who watches Casey most of the day. She loves seeing her in the morning.

5. Trying to play with cords, cell phones, remotes, and old tennis shoes...we have toys, but she is fascinated with everything else! Oh, and banging on the tv...loves that!

Extra Extra Read All About It!!!!

Casey went for her 9 month check-up today!

New stats...15 pounds, 10 ounces! She is now in the 5th percentile! Hey, this is an improvement from the 6 month visit (0 percentile). YAY!!!

Head...I forget the circumference, but she is in the 50th percentile. Big brain!

Height...well, she is short. She is only 25 inches long and below the zero line. Oh well. What she lacks in height she can make up for in smarts!

Adorable factor (I made this up)...100%!!!

Other than that, she is healthy and we are happy!

NINE MONTHS!!!

My college ADPi sister, Johanna, has the two cutest twins ever...I just want to pinch their little chubby cheekies! SO, I think they are 6 months old today AND Miss Casey is 9 months old!

I hope she doesn't mind that I put her kids on my blog. I hope Casey and the twins can meet someday!

This is seriously the cutest picture I have ever seen. Yes, they actually sleep holding hands. I think I am in love...just the sweetest ever! Johanna will need to keep this picture in mind when they are teenagers!!!

Not that I could EVER handle twins, but I can't imagine the feeling of walking in and seeing your precious babies holding hands.
