SUCKER PUNCH!

Well, we have had a pretty crappy summer. First, my great aunt annie passed away, next my grammy 3 weeks ago today, and now Andy's dad. This summer has been just a mess. I am hoping things will get better soon and everyone will just stay healthy!!!

I start inservice Monday and the funeral will probably be Tuesday. It isn't funny, but I have seen 2 deceased loved ones in less than a month. I would think only a funeral director or a cop in Houston should have those experiences.

Just praying to get through this in one piece!

Casey rambling in the car 7/17/10

This video says it all...

Casey and Luke at Palm Beach - 7/13/10, Iris Visit 7/16/20

I thought she was kissing the dragon and it turns out she was slurping the nasty water...I RAN over there as soon as I looked closer! Yeck, Casey, but a cute picture!

***Meredith and Luke joined us down in Galveston at Palm Beach! We had a really good time and are going to try to go again this week!

While I am waiting on the pics to load, I will say that Casey is now 2 1/2 years old and weighs 28 pounds. She loves to play with her friends and babies. Veggies - well, she likes carrots and green beans and that is pretty much it. She can recite her first, middle and last name and loves to jump in her crib instead of sleeping, but then crashes out so hard and can nap for 3 hours. She is a little over obsessed with mom (me) these days, but we are having a lot of fun.

Cute, adorbale Iris came over to visit with her momma on Friday (7/16). I could not get over how much Iris had grown. It was so weird to have another little girl in the house. All of Casey's "friends" are boys, well all her momma's friends had boys so I was a little lost with another girl in the house. SO, a picture is worth a 1000 words...this is was Stacy has to get ready for in a year. Casey was NOT HAPPY to have to share. Oh well! =)

Happy 4th of July

Casey in an adorable Pillowcase dress. I have been waiting MONTHS to put it on her! The first time I tried, she yanked out the ribbon (on a different dress) so she is double notted today.

The most awesome thing about this dress is that I found a lady who makes them. SHe lives WAY out of state. I sent her a picture of this dress and the next day she e-mailed me that she had already made it for me and was putting it in the mail that day. If you need details, this woman is FAST and really good!

Have a great 4th of July!
Oh wait...I guess you want an update! Casey is 30 months old now. Half way to 3! Holy cow! She almost weighs 28 pounds. She loves "Woody tha Buzz"...she just lumps it all in together. Casey has decided against potty training, but we will try again later. Right now, we try it after nap time and she generally does ok. No big worries. I am teaching a night school class and this week is my last week. Andy is hoping to try Spanish again in the fall. Other than that...have a great 4th!

Andy's Ring Ceremony - may 6th

Andy was given his college ring on May 6th. I was very proud of him. I won't share with you the details about the disaster that day was (and how much Andy was in the dog house)...but we made it in one piece. Casey lost per patience pretty soon after the ceremony, so that is always fun.

Go Coogs!

I know...finally

32 Years old...ugh. Well, on May 25th, I turned 32. To celebrate, we went down to my mom's house and went swimming. I LOVE summer...swim, swim, swim! Casey loves the water. I hope we can get her into some swimming classes this summer, if I can get my butt in gear! We are supposed to head over there today, Memorial Day, to swim with family and friends. YAY!

I guess I will update a little bit more since the pics are taking forever to download... the school year is over in 1 week and then I am teaching summer school until July 1st. I am hoping to buy a new car after that pay check comes in. Andy is taking a class this summer and should graduate in December if he can pass spanish. Easier said than done. Yesterday, we went to my great aunt's funeral. I am very, very sad about my grandmother losing her sister of over 80 years and her best friend. Aunt Annie was the best...hands down.
