18 month appt. AND New words/songs of the week

This past week we went to the doc for Casey's 18 month appt. and shots.

Fully clothed, with shoes and a wet diaper she weighed in at a WHOPPING 22 pounds 2 ounces. She is in the 20th percentile in weight. What a heavyweight!

Her length is just at 30 inches...again in the 20th percentile, but her Crawford mellon is in the 50th percentile! YAY for BRAINS!!!

Casey loves to sing..."D-D-D-D-Dora" and "Yo Gabba Gabba, Yo Gabba Gabba"

She went to visit her Aunt Ruby and Uncel Tommy last week and came back with " Oh-Dokie" Her version of Okie -Dokie.

When you pop out and see her, she yells "I see you".

I am most proud of diaper time. When she poops, she says "Nasty". I agree, Casey, it is nasty!

My MOST favorite is when she is waiting on Andy to come home. She says "Knock Knock" as we knock on the window to get his attention when he pulls up. When he opens the door she says, "Daddy home". Sometimes when he is late, she stands in the window and says "daddy home". It is cute, but also very sad...she misses her daddy when he is at work!

Practicing my tumbling.

I forced Andy out of bed this morning to go with us to Little Gym. We are only doing it for the summer and since there was a special for the month of July. Casey LOVES it. Next week, our friend is Luke is coming for friend day on Wednesday and then on Friday we are going with our friend Carter to his Little Gym for friend day! YAY!

WEEEEEE!!!

We didn't know there would be a cool blow up slide, but Casey had no issues with going in her dress! By the time we left, her dress was hanging about 3 inches lower. She had so much fun. At about 805 Casey started saying "tired" which means she is ready for bed. When she is really exhausted, she will tell us "tired". So, she was out cold by 830pm. No fireworks!

Lunch with Brittany

Casey and I met Brittany for lunch. We had a great time catching up. Casey loved coloring with Brittany and she ate her weight in crackers.

p.s. - I "borrowed" this pic of Brittany form facebook. I hate her how good she looks!!!
Yeah, I am calling you out on my blog...you better get Jacob's baby blog up and running!!!

Gi Gi's dress

I tried to snap a picture of Casey in the dress Jennifer bought her, but haven't had much luck. She bought it for her awhile ago, but I just finally got around to buying shorts that matched since it didn't come with bloomers. I think the shorts look better anyway!
Her face is still pretty busted up. Poor thing lost a battle with a bathroom trash can.

Yesterday, Casey played with Aunt Ruby and Uncle Tommy. She had a great time, but gave them a run for their money when it came to lunch time. The kid just doesn't like spaghetti Os. Oh well.
Today we ventured out to the gym. I was nervous, but Casey did just fine at the little gym day care. We will try to go every day. We will see.

Casey and her new Hat!

Mama Kay and PaPa Dee bought Casey a new hat. Kay ironed on the butterfly. Normally Casey won't let you put anything on her head, but she loves her new hat! The video is funny...yay, coloring!
